Traffic Crash Consulting

I started my career with the Ohio State Highway Patrol as a Cadet Candidate.  This means I got the chance prior to turning 21 years old to work towards my goal.  My goal was to become the best Ohio State Trooper I could.

My mother worked for the Company which serviced the Coffee machine at a Highway Patrol Post.  When I was born they placed stickers on my bassonet.  These stickers apparently led me toward my life calling.

When I was a cadet candidate I was in a select few.  The Ohio State Patrol only had about 20 people throughout the entire State in the program.  I accepted the job and quit college at their request.  "Leave college or we'll give the position to someone else." (The program no longer exists.)  During my year with the Highway Patrol in training I rode-a-long with my Sergeants and learned law enforcement crash investigation at an early age.

After I graduated from the six month long Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy I moved on to patrolling the largest county in Ohio, Ashtabula.

I will find the truth!

During my first year with the Ohio State Highway Patrol I gathered the nickname "Killer Keller."  I handled more severe injury crashes and fatal crashes in my first year than most troopers handled in their entire career.  This sparked my need for knowledge regarding severe crashes.

In 2001 I was a certified Technical Crash Investigator for the Ohio State Highway Patrol.  I was a very young trooper responding to scenes and telling much senior units how to do their job.

Technical Crash Investigator was not enough for me.  I paid my own expenses and took vacation to attend Traffic Crash Reconstruction School in Jacksonville, Florida.  This
Traffic Crash Reconstruction School was IPTM (Institute for Police Technolgy and Management) at the University of North Florida.

When I came back from this school obviously, the Ohio State Patrol began to utilize my training.  I have handled, seen, reconstructed every crash you can think of.  I've seen the worst of the worst and want to use my training to find the truth.

Everyone knows human beings make mistakes.  I'm here to find those mistakes and make them right.  Copies of my training certificates are available upon request.
